52nd Annual Fall Foliage Festival
October 13 @ 9:00 am - October 15 @ 5:00 pm
It’s time for the Boothbay region’s Annual Fall Foliage Festival – our 52nd year! The Boothbay Region Information Center along with the Boothbay Railway Village co–sponsor this true New England Craft Fair. Every Columbus Day Weekend for half a century the Museum’s Village Green has welcomed dozens of vendors with exquisite handmade items and fabulous food along with a wide variety of fabulous live entertainment.
The beautiful crafts, art, great eats, and entertainment are center stage on the Museum’s Village Green, a four acre lawn surrounded by historic buildings and structures. Rides on the narrow gauge steam train and the opportunity for guests to explore exhibits detailing Maine’s railroad heritage, interpreting village life, and displaying more than 55 antique automobiles set this event apart.
Foodies will delight in the traditional coastal offerings of lobster rolls, hot cider, fish chowder, kettle corn, just to name a few.
The children’s area promises to be fun and entertaining for the younger crowd! Children will have great fun in the children’s area with face painting, lawn games, treasure hunts and more.
