Boothbay Harbor Waterfront Preservation is a 501 (c)(3) Public Charity with a stated purpose the “It will endeavor to maintain and enhance the traditional character of Boothbay Harbor and in particular, it shall pursue opportunities to protect working waterfront and public access to the water for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.” Please read our Facebook page to follow our progress.
The Boothbay Region Garden Club supports our community in many ways, such as scholarships for YMCA camperships and college students entering environmental studies, beautification of public buildings, planting and maintaining of public gardens, among many other projects. Non-profit organization conserving land in the Boothbay Region with over 30 miles of hiking trails. Open year-round, free of charge. Preserves include woodlands, wetlands, salt marshes, islands, significant bird habitat, historical and archaeological sites, and working waterfront. Trail guides available at 60 Samoset Road, our website, and at preserve kiosks.
