Your Boothbay region beekeepers and honey lovers, Donna and Denny Denniston, make their honey on Barters Island, just past the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. They are quick to say, they don’t actually make the honey, the BEES do! They have hives all around Barters Island and beyond.

Raw local ‘Runny’ honey, Bee Stinger hot honey and Maine Mousse, a line of creamed honey or 100% honey that has been gently stirred over a few days until it reaches a thick, creamy consistency. Maine Mousse is available in 6 organic fruit and spice varieties like Cinnamon, Ginger, Blueberry Lemon and Honey Butter. There’s a honey TASTING TABLE every day!
