Kim and Philippe Villard have been collaborating artists since 1986. Their woodblock print images are drawn by Philippe who transfers the image to wood and carves away the lines, then Kim and colleagues do the painterly hand printing. Stop by the showroom in Boothbay Harbor to browse the prints, talk to the artists, or sign up to help preserve the historic woodblock printing technique by creating your own heirloom print from our library of teaching blocks.
