Information about the Beautiful Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Mid-Coast Region
After thoughtful and careful consideration, the Boothbay Railway Village and the Boothbay Region Information Center have made the difficult decision to cancel the 53rd annual Fall Foliage Festival. We believe this decision is in the best interest of the Fair and the health and safety of all participants.
The Boothbay Region Information Center and the Boothbay Railway Village wish to extend a very special thank you to all participants, volunteers and attendees who have made the Festival a fall tradition in Maine. We also wish to thank all vendors and our event sponsor, Geico Maine, who signed up this year, in spite of these very difficult times.
The Fall Foliage Festival has been a family tradition in Mid Coast Maine for more than half a century. Along with the Boothbay Railway Village, we are very disappointed to cancel our 53rd Annual Festival, especially as the State of Maine celebrates its 200th birthday. We look forward to continuing the tradition in 2021. Please watch for other Railway Village events happening
The Museum’s Village Green will showcase dozens of vendors presenting their exquisite handmade items. Fabulous food along with a children’s are and a wide variety of fabulous live entertainment will grasp everyone’s attention.
The beautiful crafts, art, great eats, and entertainment are center stage on the Museums Village Green, a four acre lawn surrounded by historic buildings and structures. The opportunity for guests to explore exhibits detailing Maine’s railroad heritage, interpreting village life, and displaying more than 55 antique automobiles set this event apart.
Foodies will delight in the traditional coastal offerings of lobster rolls, hot cider, fish chowder, kettle corn, and new this year the ever popular food trucks.
The children’s area promises to be fun and entertaining for the younger crowd! Children will have great fun in the children’s area with face painting, lawn games, and more.
Entertainment and Events To Be Announced in 2021. We look forward to seeing you all next year.
