Wait! Wait! It’s too early to talk about Christmas. It is still summer you know!
Well no it isn’t too early. We’re talking the famous and wildly popular Gingerbread Spectacular here at the Boothbay Opera House. People ARE asking about it already. Do you know what some people do the day after the Gingerbread Spectacular ends…they start planning for next year’s event. I’m not lying here.
Ideas, concepts and approaches need to percolate and take shape. You need time to pull this together. And without your entries, frankly, it won’t be quite as….well you know….spectacular.
If you have never created a Gingerbread creation before or want to hone your building talents – come join with other aspiring Gingerbread construction lovers and get ready to make your own creation. The Boothbay Opera House is here to help. Bottom line – HAVE FUN!!!
Here are the important dates you need to note:
Wednesday, November 18: Our Gingerbread House workshop at 3pm. FOR ALL AGES, ALL ABILITIES. A $5 donation is suggested.
December 11-13: THE Gingerbread Spectacular happens when these beauties will be on public display.
When you’re ready, there is an entry form. We have a supply of those right outside the Opera House office and a copy is also shown below.
